Gary Lineker blasts UEFA over Glen Kamara decision after Rangers star hit with three game ban

Gary Lineker has hit out at UEFA over the ban handed out to Glen Kamara for ‘assaulting’ Ondrej Kudela.

The Rangers star was given a three match ban for retaliating to the racist abuse received from the Slavia Prague defender last month.

Kudela called Kamara ‘a f***ing monkey’ and the Finland International punched him following the Europa League match at Ibrox.

UEFA gave a 10 game ban to Kudela - the minimum they could for racial abuse - and a three match suspension to Kamara, reduced from five on appeal.

And Lineker was left baffled by that decision as he questioned UEFA on their decision and wondered if things would ever change.

He posted: “Banned for racism. Banned for reacting to being racially abused. Will they ever get it right?”

Kudela will now miss Czech Republic's European Championship games, including the match with Scotland.

The defender was hit with a 10 game ban, and that covers all UEFA competitions - including the European championships which start in June.

That means he won't be involved when Czech Republic travel to Hampden to face Scotland.

He has already served one game of the ban in last week's game with Arsenal and it will be the same again when they face each other in Prague on
