Gary Lineker was on hand to provide the jokes as Barcelona struggled to beat Ibiza 2-1 in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
Segunda Division B side Ibiza gave the Spanish giants a scare in the Round of 32 clash when they took the lead through Josep Caballe Martin in just the ninth minute.
They led their illustrious opponents going into the break and for much of the second half too before Barcelona's quality shone through.
Antoine Griezmann drew the scores level, prompting a joke from former Barcelona forward Lineker, who tweeted: "It's all-square. Barcelona have equalised. Hard to imagine not scoring in Ibiza."
The tweet prompted a host of humorous replies, and it wasn't long before Lineker decided to respond to one of them reading: "I can see them popping another one soon."
Lineker simply replied: "They're playing between the lines."
The game appeared to be going to extra time, but Griezmann broke hearts on the party island by netting Barcelona's winner in 94 minutes.
