Gary Lineker couldn’t resist a cheeky double dig at Liverpool after Leicester City ran out 1-0 victors over the Reds on Tuesday.
Mohamed Salah missed what turned out to be a crucial penalty in the first half, and Foxes winger Ademola Lookman scored the only goal of the game after the break.
The win was sweet revenge for Brendan Rodgers’ side after they lost their Carabao Cup quarter final tie against the Reds on penalties last week.
Lineker claimed Liverpool were 'fresher' than Leicester after their clash with Leeds United was postponed on Boxing Day while the Foxes were beaten at Manchester City.

Foxes fan Lineker revelled in the win, and was keen to point out that the east Midland club were at a considerable disadvantage going into the clash at the King Power Stadium.
"As always I'll give one or two scores away," he said in a preview to the Match of the Day running order.
"only one place to start tonight, Leicester vs Liverpool. The super foxes. I won't tell you the score.
"Well, I will. 1-0 to Leicester! So that takes the lead."
He later sent a further message: “Wow! What a win for @LCFC against all the odds. A million injuries, and playing 48 hours after playing Man City against a rested @LFC side. Proud of the foxes."
The defeat leaves the Reds six points behind league leaders City and level pegging with third placed Chelsea.
Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League game for a monumental clash with Thomas Tuchel's side on January 2.
