Match of the Day pundit has backed Bukayo Saka over his goal against Chelsea on Boxing Day.
Saka scored what - at first glance - appeared to simply be an excellent finish as he clipped in a shot off the post from the corner of the box to make it 3-0 to Arsenal against their London rivals, the game eventually finishing 3-1.
But upon reflection, there are questions over whether the youngster actually meant the shot or whether it was a sliced cross, involving a little fortune.
Asked after the game if he meant it, Saka, predictably, said he saw the keeper off his line and took aim.
He told BBC: "Well I saw him off his line so I thought I'd chip him a bit, you know?"
But not everyone is buying that claim, and Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish tweeted Saka after he posted a tweet along the lines of what he told BBC.
Grealish said: "Ur to funny man! Liar" with several laughing emojis.
Opinion is split on whether to believe Saka, and even Match of the Day guest Danny Murphy wasn't sure, simply replying: "Not convinced" when asked about the young Arsenal star's claim.
Match of the Day presenter Lineker is taking Saka's side, though, saying: "I'd give him the benefit of the doubt if he says it."
Saka's goal was the third of the game, adding to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka before Tammy Abraham pulled a goal back for Chelsea.
The win was Arsenal's first in eight Premier League games and they will now be looking to continue their resurgence against Brighton on Tuesday night when they should finally have the opportunity to move out of 15th spot.
