Gary Lightbody will join a Walk for Peace in memory of murdered journalist Lyra McKee.
Lyra's Walk, starting at Writer's Square in Belfast on May 25 and finishing up three days later in Derry, has been organised by a group of people affected by the 29-year-old's death.
The Snow Patrol frontman will join the walk for the final leg from Dungiven, before performing at an event at Erbrington Square Event Space in Derry.

Organisers of the event said they were "absolutely delighted" about the musician's support for the event, and said it was a "poignant development" for the team.
Lyra McKee was killed last month as she observed rioting in the Creggan estate in Derry.
The New IRA claimed responsibility for her death.
