Gary Dicker trolls Rangers as Kilmarnock captain has sharp response to plastic pitch criticism

Kilmarnock captain Gary Dicker trolled Rangers after his side's win at Rugby Park, wondering if it'd be blamed on the artificial turf.

Alex Dyer's side fell behind to a Scott Arfield strike in the first half but rallied after the break and Stephen O'Donnell slotted in an equaliser.

As Rangers pushed to find a winner a long ball forward was missed by Connor Goldson and Eamonn Brophy finished to put a huge dent in the Gers' title hopes.

After the match Kilmarnock captain Dicker took to Twitter to write: "Must have been the astro's fault..."

The result leaves Rangers 10 points behind Celtic, and while they have a game in hand it's a big gap to try and bridge.

Steven Gerrard's side lost both league matches at Rugby Park last season, taking just two points at Ibrox.

They've only managed one league win at Rugby Park since the final day of the 2010-11 season, with only three wins in all competitions.
