Gary Dicker says he's loving life at Kilmarnock and hints he would extend his contract

Gary Dicker says he's loving life at Kilmarnock and has hinted he would stay beyond the summer.

The captain's contract is up at the end of the season but he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.

However, he has a clause in his contract that will automatically trigger an extension should he wish to do so.

He said: "My intention is to stay here after this season. I am happy just like everyone else.

"We have got a great dressing room and we have done well since I got here, we have kicked on every year.

"I am enjoying my football, I am enjoying playing, so hopefully that continues."

He added: "I have got a clause in my contract to extend my stay after so many appearances, like most players have here I think.

"I need to prove myself, I can't just expect to get a new deal.

"We just need to worry about finishing the season strongly, I don't think anyone is worrying about themselves right now.

"There's a lot of the lads out of contract soon, but they're doing well so I'm sure the club will try and get that sorted."
