Gary Barlow's fans tease he's 'definitely a grower' as he shares Take That throwback

Gary Barlow treated fans to a hilarious snap from his Take That heyday, with the singer/song-writer looking adorable fresh-faced.

The throwback photo saw Gary embracing his floppy blonde locks and giving a shy smile to camera while casually dressed in a casual blue polo shirt.

Gary, now 49, estimated that the picture was taken 25 years ago in 1995, five years after Take That were formed by Nigel Martin Smith.

" I saw it pop up online this week and had to share it," said Gary. "I’m afraid the year is a guess as usually the background gives away where I was .... 1995 I think. I used to wear that top a lot around that time."

After he shared the picture over the weekend, Gary's fans have gone wild for the trip down to memory lane.

"Always the best smile, I remember every month appointment at the newsagent to get Take That Official," recalled one.

Another joked Gary had grown into his looks, "You was definitely a grower."

"Wow that is a flash back @officialgarybarlow - fashion had a lot to answer for back then," teased another of his 90s clobber.

You look like your son!" others agreed, with the star sharing three kids - Daisy, Daniel and Emily - with wife Dawn Andrews, 50.

Back in March Gary shared another nostalgic pic as he and Dawn recreated their first holiday together to mark their 20th wedding anniversary.

Gary took to Instagram to post a pic of them from 1996 as they relaxed on a beach in Petit St Vincent, a private island in the Grenadines.

The loving couple even managed to pose in the exact same spot as they had their last pic taken.

Gary and Dawn met when she joined Take That's Nobody Else tour as a backing dancer in 1995.
