Gary Anderson warns PDC World Championship opponents he's only getting started as hat-trick dream lives on

Gary Anderson sent a message to the PDC World Championships final four as he announced that he isn't even at his best yet.

The Flying Scotsman beat England's Luke Humphries at a raucous Ally Pally to move into the semi-finals.

It was a tighter game than the 5-2 win suggested with Humphries pegging him back to two sets all earlier in the match.

But Anderson rallied to take the final three sets and could now face Peter Wright in an all-Scottish semi-final if Snakebite sees off Callan Rydz tonight.

Anderson checked out on tops to book his semi-final place and although the Scot played well, there were some shakey moments as he acknowledged after the match.

"I played alright. I missed a lot of doubles at the start that I lost a lot of legs on but that's the way it goes," he said.

"I've got no expectations whatsoever. You come up here and if you get beat, it's well done to the next boy and on you go."

And when asked how far he was from his best, the Musselburgh darts star joked he was a long way off the pace.

"About 17 and a half miles (from my best)," he said.

"Nah, it's alright, we're here another day now, there's going to be some good games tonight.

"I'm not at my best yet. Maybe by about 2030 I might be getting there!"
