Garth Brooks announces three extra Dublin dates amid massive online queues

Garth Brooks has announced three extra dates at Croke Park following overwhelming demand from fans.

The news comes as over 280,000 fans have been waiting in an online queue to buy tickets that went on sale at 8am this morning.

Brooks will now be playing Croke Park on September 9, 10, 11, 16 and 17 2022.

The first extra date of September 11 was announced at 8.30am this morning and the 16 and 17 September gigs were announced at 10am.

Tickets for the new gigs are now available on Ticketmaster.

Fans have been left fuming due to the massive queues online on the website.

One angry fan said they were kicked off the queue.

They said on Twitter: "Why is @TicketmasterIre app throwing me out of the @garthbrooks queue and now won’t let me back in!!"

Another user said: "In the queue since 7:30am, my husband just joined the queue beside me & he is ahead of me!! How is that possible!!"

A third person added: "@TicketmasterUK what an absolute joke!!!!!!! 4 Garth Brooks tickets in the basket and card details entered and it times out before payment was processed!!! System is a disgrace!"

Garth woke up to the news that the majority of tickets for his five shows had been sold.
