Garrett Bradbury returns as injuries mount

Minnesota Vikings starting center Garrett Bradbury has returned to the game after leaving earlier in the third quarter with a back injury. The injury, initially suffered in the first game of the season, cost Bradbury most of the season opener, along with the team’s next two games.

Bradbury was finally able to return this week, but his return was short-lived, as the injury reportedly was re-aggravated early in the second half. Bradbury’s return comes at a pivotal point, as it appears starting long-snapper Andrew DePaola has suffered an undisclosed injury.

DePaola was seen going into the medical tent and Bradbury in turn was seen practicing his long-snapping skills. If Bradbury is forced into special teams action, we’ll see how that affects the operation.

Losing DePaola could prove to be a costly injury if a poor snap costs the Vikings points at the end of the game. Only time will tell.
