Police extinguish car fire at Garran, major traffic delays experienced

ACT Fire and Rescue have extinguished a car fire that occurred at Hindmarsh Drive near Tyagarah Street in Garran on Friday afternoon.

The car experienced extensive damage but no one was injured.

Fire and Rescue have left the scene.

There were heavy traffic delays in westbound lanes as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
