With a market cap of $44.2 billion, Garmin Ltd. (GRMN) is a leading global provider of navigation, communication, and wearable technology. The company designs, manufactures, and markets a wide range of GPS-enabled devices and wireless solutions across fitness, outdoor, marine, automotive, and aviation segments.
Shares of the Schaffhausen, Switzerland-based company have outperformed the broader market over the past 52 weeks. GRMN stock has increased over 33% over this time frame, while the broader S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has rallied 16.1%. In addition, shares of the company have gained 14.6% on a YTD basis, compared to SPX’s 9.9% rise.
Moreover, the personal navigation devices maker's stock has outpaced the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund’s (XLY) 25.9% return over the past 52 weeks.
Despite Garmin’s better-than-expected Q2 2025 adjusted EPS of $2.17 and revenue of $1.8 billion, shares of GRMN fell 7.4% on Jul. 30. The drop came as its updated full-year guidance, while raised to $8 EPS on $7.1 billion revenue, implied a weaker second half of the year.
For the fiscal year ending in December 2025, analysts expect GRMN’s adjusted EPS to grow 10.4% year-over-year to $8.16. The company's earnings surprise history is mixed. It beat the consensus estimates in three of the last four quarters while missing on another occasion.
Among the eight analysts covering the stock, the consensus rating is a “Hold.” That’s based on one “Strong Buy” rating, four “Holds,” one “Moderate Sell,” and two “Strong Sells.”
As of writing, the stock is trading above the mean price target of $214.60. The Street-high price target of $285 implies a potential upside of 20.9% from the current price levels.
