Gareth Bale wants to once again prove how good he is while on loan at Tottenham, says agent Jonathan Barnett.
The Welshman is set to return to N17 on a season-long loan deal, seven years after moving to Real Madrid as the world's most expensive player, with Spurs paying less than half of his wages.
Bale is one of the most successful players in Tottenham's history, scoring 55 goals across 203 games, twice being named the best player in the Premier League, and best young player once, during his spell.
Barnett says Bale is keen is recapture that form after falling out at favour at Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane, despite helping the club win four Champions League titles.
"What happened at Real Madrid was unfortunate for many reasons and now he wants to show the world what a great player he is," Barnett told the Telegraph.
"He is undoubtedly one of the best in the world."
