Gareth Bale urged to join one Premier League club 'who can win things'

Paul Ince has urged Liverpool to move for Gareth Bale this summer.

Bale is up for grabs after Zinedine Zidane told him he has no future at Real Madrid .

PSG and Bayern Munich have both been linked with Bale but a move to China appears the most likely at this stage with no Premier League club approaching the Welshman.

Beijing Guoan have already made an approach and are willing to pay Bale £1m-a-week with Jiangsu Suning also interested in signing him.

But former Liverpool skipper Ince believes a move would make sense for Jurgen Klopp.

"For me, if Liverpool could afford him, he should go to Liverpool," Ince told BBC Radio 5 live.

"If you look at the front three, they have played all summer so how much rest are they going to get before the season starts?

"Bale can play on the right, he can play left and he can play central. They have got Origi and Shaqiri but are they good enough?

"It can't be about money for Bale, he needs to go to a team who can win things - the European champions, the team that finished second in the Premier League."

Bale is on £650,000-a-week at Madrid and is unlikely to get a similar salary elsewhere in Europe.

On the Welshman, Zidane said: "We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

"I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done."
