Gareth Bale has congratulated Harry Kane after the England striker scored his 200th goal for Tottenham during Thursday evening's victory at Ludogorets.
Kane's opener inside 15 minutes put Jose Mourinho 's side on the way to a 3-1 victory in the Europa League Group J encounter, with Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso also finding the net for Spurs.
The result sees the North London outfit top the group on goal difference ahead of Royal Antwerp and LASK, who also have six points.
Bale took to Twitter to congratulate Kane on reaching the 200-goal milestone, putting him in the same company as the likes of Bobby Smith and Jimmy Greaves.
"Job done! Congrats @HKane on 200 goals for @SpursOfficial," he tweeted.
The Welsh winger returned to Spurs on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid in the summer, having left for the Spanish giants for a then-world record fee in 2013.
He lifted the Champions League trophy on four separate occasions during his time at the club, scoring arguably the greatest goal in the history of the competition with his sensational bicycle kick against Liverpool in 2018.
His team-mate Kane has enjoyed a scintillating start to the season, having claimed 12 goals and ten assists in just 13 appearances in all competitions.
He became the first Englishman in history to assist four goals in a single Premier League game during Tottenham's 5-2 victory at Southampton in September.
Spurs return to domestic action this weekend as they travel north to face West Bromwich Albion away from home, before a tough test following the international break as they welcome Manchester City to North London.
