Gareth Bale's transfer admission as Tottenham's summer window priorities are analysed

Tottenham endured a rough 2019/20 campaign but there is hope for the new season under Jose Mourinho.

Competing for the top four has to be the aim but to do that some more movement in the summer transfer window would be ideal.

But transfer gossip is far from the only topic dominating the conversation at Spurs.

Alasdair Gold on Spurs' Europa League draw

Gareth Bale, Jose Mourinho, Daniel Levy and Amazon Prime are all involved in the Tottenham morning digest below.

Bale speaks out

Former Tottenham star Gareth Bale has finally discussed his predicament at Real Madrid.

The Welsh forward has fallen out of favour at Real under Zinedine Zidane.

Amid criticism from the Spanish press aplenty, Bale has stayed quiet. That's until now, with the 31-year-old taking the opportunity to speak to the press whilst on Wales' international duty.

Asked if he wanted a return to the Premier League, he said: "Like I said, it's not really in my hands. It's one of those situations where if those options arise it is something I would look at, for sure.

"We'll see what happens. We have plenty of time left in this transfer window, and I guess a couple of others as well. Time will tell but the decision is in Real Madrid's hands."

Tottenham transfer priorities

Tottenham have made some solid moves in the summer transfer window.

But Rob Guest has looked at what Jose Mourinho and Daniel Levy's next transfer priorities must be.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was the first to arrive from Southampton on a long-term contract, with Joe Hart and Matt Doherty the next to follow through the door.

Amazon troll Man Utd fans

Amazon have attempted to encourage Manchester United fans to watch Tottenham's All or Nothing series recapping last season.

Mourinho of course managed United and Chelsea previously in the Premier League and Amazon have used this to their advantage on billboards promoting the documentary.

The billboard, featuring a picture of Mourinho, says: "Ever wondered what your ex is up to?"
