Gareth Bale's agent speaks out on Real Madrid star's future amid alleged Manchester United and Chelsea interest

Gareth Bale has no interest in moving back to the Premier League.

That's according to his agent Jonathan Barnett, who says Bale is keen to stay in the Spanish capital, despite increasing speculation over his future.

The Welshman was once again jeered by his own fans during his side's narrow win over Eibar at the weekend, and has endured a turbulent relationship with the club's fans in recent years.

The re-appointment of French coach Zinedine Zidane, who reportedly fell out with Bale during his first spell at the Bernabeu has only further intensified speculation that the forward could be set for the exit, with Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea and old club Tottenham all linked with a possible move.

Reports in Manchester have suggested Bale isn't currently on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wish list, while Spanish outlet Marca has claimed that German giants Bayern Munich are also interested.

However, Bale's agent Barnett insists the player has no intention of moving on this summer and, despite difficulties with the club's fans, is keen to stay at Madrid.

"He is very happy here," he said. "He is a Real Madrid player and right now he is not thinking about a return to England.

Asked whether the Wales international is likely to still be at the club next season, Barnett added: "I can’t predict the future but for now he is happy".

Since arriving in Spain for a world record fee of £85 million in 2013, Bale has scored 78 goals in 151 games for Madrid, helping his team to four Champions League titles.
