Jose Mourinho’s quest for a striker is continuing with RB Salzburg’s Patson Daka the latest name linked to the club.

Spurs were left short-staffed last season after Harry Kane’s injury, and it’s now considered vital that Mourinho adds a striker to his squad.

There has previously been talk that one of Arkadiusz Milik or Habib Diallo could sign on, but football.london understands the club are interested in Daka from RB Salzburg.

Tottenham Hotspur are on the lookout for some more new faces this summer as they look to bounce back from a difficult season.

The signings of Joe Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have helped address certain issues, but one of the club’s main priorities is a back-up striker for Harry Kane. Fernando Llorente filled that void, but he left at the end of his contract, and the club have failed to find a replacement.

RB Salzburg striker is the latest name to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a striker to provide competition for Harry Kane, and Daka has emerged as the latest candidate after Callum Wilson and Ollie Watkins joined Newcastle and Aston Villa respectively.

Daka amassed an impressive 24 league goals in 31 league games last season, and football.london understands that the club are indeed keen to sign the 21-year-old.
