Gareth Bale could be sidelined by injury for at least a month, it has been reported.
Bale is closing in on a loan return to Tottenham Hotspur seven years after leaving to join Real Madrid.
The Wales star flew to England on Friday before travelling to the Spurs training ground.
Spanish media outlet Marca claims Bale arrived carrying an injury, which may keep him out of action for "another four weeks at least".
The report adds that the issue will not stop the transfer from going through - but it would have ramifications for the Wales national side if true.
Wales have three games coming up in the next month.
They face England in a friendly at Wembley on October 8, before a UEFA Nations League double header away to Republic of Ireland (October 11) and Bulgaria (October 14).
