Gareth Bale in Real Madrid 'truce' as Nicolas Pepe’s agent makes huge demand – latest transfer rumours

Peace seems to have broken out between Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane, according to a report in the Spanish media.

The Wales superstar featured for Real Madrid in the friendly against Arsenal in Washington on Wednesday and scored.

Now Marca insist the frosty relationship between Bale and the Madrid coach has thawed somewhat.

They also claim the former Tottenham forward intends to fight for his place in Zidane’s side.

Bale had been offered a staggering £1million-a-week deal with a Chinese Super League side but it’s believed the 30-year-old wishes to stay in Europe.

Bayern Munich are keen on landing him while Manchester United are long-term admirers.

Staying on the United tip, they could lose out on Lille star Nicolas Pepe.

The Ivory Coast forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford giants as well as English Premier League rivals Liverpool.

But according to Sky Italia Pepe’s agent, Samir Hiat, has touched down in Dimaro to open talks with Napoli about a potential transfer.

Lille are willing to complete a deal with the Serie A side that includes cash plus Adam Ounas.

But his agent wants a big slice of the action and is demanding a £4.5m commission and for his player to receive £4.5m salary.
