When I think of Gardner Minshew, I think of his mullet. It’s that simple. If you’re reading this article, you probably feel the same way about the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback. There was a time where #MinshewMagic was overtaking northern Florida, and fans really believed in him. His successes were inextricably linked to his mustache and his mullet.
For some reason unbeknownst to me, Minshew cut the mullet. Even the mustache is now diluted. He’s got a beard.
What. Is. Happening? Can someone check on him? He posted a photo with a big smile and a haircut that was very clearly not a mullet — and that brought frowns to NFL fans all over the globe. Here’s a look at his new cut.

There’s always hope he comes to his senses and brings back his mullet. But this is a tough day for mulleteers everywhere.
