The Jacksonville Jaguars made several noteworthy selections in the 2019 NFL Draft, whether it was acquiring two steals in pass rusher Josh Allen and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, or stunning the league by taking Murray State prospect Quincy Williams. However, there was one prospect who was taken by the organization on Day 3 that sent the social media world ablaze and that’s the selection of Washington State’s Gardner Minshew.
Some of the young quarterback’s buzz is the result of a huge following he had in Washington State, gaining popularity for his ability on the field and, of course, for having the greatest mustache in college football. As a result, Duval appears to have welcomed him with open arms and many are calling him national treasure for the black and teal.
