Garden guru shares lazy strimmer hack to get your lawn edges trimmed in seconds

Spring is finally here and the weather is gradually getting warmer, and those fortunate enough to have gardens will no doubt start to utilise their outdoor space more. So, it's time to get your garden looking the best it can be.

After the winter you may have left your lawn to grow wild, and it's time to get those edges trimmed so you can enjoy your outside area properly.

To help you with this, a garden guru has shared a quick and easy hack to get the lawn edges perfectly cut in seconds.

The pro, who often posts handy tips and tricks to the Just Gardens TikTok page, demonstrated the hack in a video. He wrote: "Easy lawn edging. Turn your strimmer upside down."

In the video clip, he turned his strimmer the wrong way and speedily ran it along the edges of the grass – creating a perfectly sharp edge.

He captioned the video: "Quick [and] easy way to edge your lawn off," and explained that the tool is called a Cobra Long Pole.

People in the comment section couldn't believe how effective the 'lazy' hack was – and they couldn't stop watching it.

One person commented: "I'm mesmerised. I could watch this instead of watching my list of responsibilities grow."

Another simply said: "Clean lines, love it." while another added: "That's SO satisfying."

A fourth added: "Life changer. Thanks!"

One person suggested you could buy a lawn edger instead, but the Just Gardens pro replied saying: "Yes, but takes a lot longer and makes [the] border wider every time you do it."

He also suggested using safety goggles anytime you're using a strimmer, and be careful of any nearby windows, as stones can jump up and cause an accident.
