Gardai have issued a warning to the public that they will be patrolling popular tourist areas after reports of antisocial behaviour.
Officers in Donegal had been keeping an eye on tourist locations across the Buncrana District after they were reopened at the start of the month.
But with crowds flocking to the areas, there has been increasing discomfort as groups are causing issues for members of the public.
It resulted in Gardaí issuing the warning earlier today.
A spokesperson said: "Gardaí regularly conduct patrols of the recently reopened OPW/Tourist Locations across the Buncrana District. Gardaí have received reports of antisocial behaviour in some of these areas and would like to remind the public to be respectful of others who have come to these areas to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
"As restrictions continue to ease, Gardaí will continue to patrol the areas to ensure that no antisocial behaviour is taking place."
