Motorists could face traffic disruption on Monday as hauliers take to the streets to protest once again.
Truckers gathered overnight ahead of today's protest which is being held over surging fuel prices.
The Irish Truckers and Haulage Association Against Fuel Prices have organised the event which will see convoys leaving various meeting points from 6am.
Gardai and Dublin City Council have both warned that there will be disruption on the roads as a result of the protest.
Gardai and DCC both said: "There is a possibility of some traffic disruption during the peak hours on Monday morning due to a planned hauliers protest.
"The public is asked to plan for any necessary journeys on Monday and to use public transport, walking and cycling where possible.
"Public transport will be operating as normal and the city centre retail and businesses will be open as normal.
"Up to date information on any disruption will be made available via AGS, DCC TII and during the peak hours via the 'Live Drive 103.2' radio station."
The Irish Truckers and Haulage Association Against Fuel Prices said ahead of the protest: "Today is the day, the last rising was on a Monday let's stand for what we deserve.
"We want answers or we won't be moving."
The group listed its meeting points on Sunday night and issued advice for hauliers on how to prepare for the event.
The meeting points are: M1 Applegreen Services South, M2/N2 Ashbourne Retail Park, M3 Service Station Mulhuddart, M4 The Galway Plaza, M4 The Kinnegad Plaza, M7 Kennedy Key Cork, M7 Toughers Truck Stop Naas, and M11 Applegreen J14 Cullenmore 6am.
The advice to hauliers says: "Everybody is to gather around and speak to marshals at each point. They will give you routes and direct you when to leave.
"Bring plenty of food, water and wrap up well.
"We want a peaceful protest and no trouble. Please be aware of your surroundings when beeping horns.( hospitals, schools etc)
"Monday the 13th of December 2021 make it a day to remember.
"We are joining in arms, we are not going away without answers. Complete stop tomorrow and we are not leaving the Capital until we get answers.
"We have been failed continuously by our Government and the IRHA. We pay enough, we keep this country moving and we get nothing back in return.
"Haulage is a dying game with no incentives to become a driver. Numbers are short already and we have companies closing down day by day due to the soaring costs from fuel costs.
"We need to save this industry before it's too late."
