Gardai want to reunite owners of IDs that were lost at Longitude - but they come with a warning

It seems that whenever you go to a festival with a group of people, there's always lost property.

Whether it's clothes, phones, and in many cases - ID - you always have to be prepared for the inevitable.

Gardai at Longitude in Marlay Park seem to be having a great time this year, alongside all the revellers.

They've collected dozens, possibly hundreds, of IDs that have been lost since the festival started on Friday.

Sharing an image of many of the lost profiles, they said: "Have you lost your ID at #longitude2019 ? email tallaght.property@garda.ie."

But the announcement also came with a warning about using legitimate IDs when out in public.

They continued: "The fake ones won't be returned...."

Don't be using fake IDs to do something before you're legally entitled to - it's just not worth it!
