Gardai urgently seeking information on whereabouts of missing 12-year-old boy

Gardai are renewing their appeal for information on the whereabouts of a missing 12-year-old boy.

Reece Thornton was last seen in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin on Friday.

He is described as being 5 foot 4 inches in height, with a slim build and short brown hair.

Reece, who is known to frequent the Drogheda region of Co Louth, was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a blue top and white Nike runners when he was last scene.

He was also carrying a black backpack.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Reece Thornton, 12 years. Reece was last seen in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin on Friday, 2nd July, 2021.

"Anyone with any information that can assist Gardaí in locating Reece, is asked to contact Blanchardstown Gardaí on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station."
