An 18-month-old girl and her grandfather have been found safe and well after they were reported missing on Thursday.

Shania Constantin, from Blanchardstown, west Dublin, was in the care of her Grandfather Condrut Iosca, 36, when she was reported missing.

The pair were last seen when her grandfather drove her away from the North Circular Road, near Phibsborough on the afternoon of Thursday, May 2.

It is believed he was driving a red van at the time.
