Gardai storm house as part of ongoing investigation leaving with just a bed

Gardai raided a house in Limerick earlier this month, coming away with just a bed.

As part of an investigation into alleged fraud, officers searched a property in Rathkeale on December 2.

During the search Gardai seized a bed and nothing more.

Nobody has been arrested and investigations are continuing.

A garda spokesperson said: "As part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged fraud, Gardaí carried out a search of a house in the Rathkeale area on December 2.

"During the course of the search Gardaí seized a bed.

"No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing."
