Irish pubs update: Gardai send Terenure drinkers home after 'jammed' crowd spotted outside The Pines

Gardai sent drinkers home from a pub in south Dublin last night after reports that the outside of the premises was "jammed".

There was a large gang of people packed together outside Terenure pub The Pines who were subsequently dispersed by gardai when they arrived on the scene.

A source told Dublin Live: "It's been jammed day after day for weeks with people drinking outside.

They added: "I reckon their lucky candle burnt out last night."
