Gardai seize estimated €14,000 worth of cocaine following raid on north Dublin property

Gardai have seized a substantial amount of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia after a raid on a property in north Dublin.

The raid took place on Friday afternoon on a house in the Woodhazel Close estate in Ballymun.

Cocaine worth an estimated street value of €14,000 along with a weighing scales and a large amount of bagging material was found by searching officers.

A 22-year-old was arrested following the seizure of the substances.

In a separate incident, Gardai in the same area found a white plastic bag hidden in shrubbery containing 17 smaller bags of suspected Cannabis and a small bag of Zopiclone tablets.

The total value of this find is approximately €1,200.

There have so far been no arrests following the second find.
