Gardai seize cars in Ballymount after one found to have had no NCT for more than 450 days

Two cars were seized in south Dublin yesterday after gardai found one of the vehicles had no NCT for more than 450 days.

The cars were confiscated in Ballymount after officers detected a string of offences.

The other offences included having no tax and being an unaccompanied learner.

Gardai shared pictures of the cars being loaded on to a transporter this morning.

They said: "DMR South Roads Policing Unit seized these 2 cars in Ballymount yesterday for a number of offences including; being an unaccompanied Learner and having no Tax and their NCT being expired for 15 months. Proceedings are to follow."
