Gardai have seized a car off a silly driver whose attempt to hide backfired.
Officers were on patrol in Cahir, Tipperary on Friday when they spotted the car - and noticed that the driver was attempting to hide from them.
After eventually stopping the vehicle, they discovered two major offences.
The driver had never held a driving licence and the car was not insured.
The game of hide-and-seek backfired for the driver, who had the car seized and now faces court.

Posting about the incident on Twitter, gardai said: “Patrolling gardai in Cahir observed this vehicle yesterday.
“The driver attempted to hide the vehicle from gardai.
“However, the vehicle was stopped and the mobility app revealed the driver never held a driving licence or insurance.
“Vehicle seized. Court to follow.”
