Gardai seized a haul of drugs, cash and fake weaponry when they carried out a raid on a home in north Dublin this afternoon.
Detectives found several large blocks of cannabis resin as well as cash stuffed in envelopes and even hidden in a wardrobe at the property in the Finglas area.
Two fake handguns were also found along with knuckle dusters and two mobile phones.
A tweet from the An Garda Siochana website described the bust as a "another successful Garda Operation".
It continued: "An Garda Siochana wishes to report that a search warrant was obtained pursuant to Section 26 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977/84 as amended due to ongoing intelligence gathered for the supplying of drugs within the Finglas area.
"Investigations are currently progressive in relation to the said offence and finds and will be updated and reported promptly."
The Items discovered and seized were:
- 10 x Sealed Blocks – Suspected Cannabis Resin valued at €6,000
- Envelope Containing Cash - €1,800
- 3 x Sealed Packages containing Suspected Cannabis Herb valued €300.00
- Cash in Wardrobe - €490.00
- 2 x Imitation Firearms – Airsoft
- 2 x Mobile phones
