Gardai seeking man who called to station after fatal crash in Clonmel, Co Tipperary

Gardai are looking to speak to a man who called to a Co Tipperary station to report a fatal car crash last August.

A man, in his 50s, named locally as Damir Tomic, tragically died after being struck by a car driven by a woman in her 70s.

The incident happened on Gladstone Street, Clonmel at around 3pm on Friday, August 16.

Gardai have renewed their appeal for information relating to the collision.

And officers would like to speak to a man who spoke with gardai at the station but did not leave his details.

A spokesman said: "Gardaí are particularly appealing for a man who called into Clonmel Garda Station to report the incident shortly after and left before leaving his details, to please contact Clonmel Gardaí.

"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who can assist is asked to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052 - 6177640, The Garda Confidential Line 18000 666 111 or any Garda Station."
