A missing 15-year-old boy has been reunited with his family after being found safe and well.
Shaun Cox returned home to Mitchelstown, Co Cork this morning, his aunt Joanna Federico told Cork Beo.
There had been growing concerns for Shaun, who was last seen on an outing to the cinema with friends in Clonmel, Co Tipperary on Saturday afternoon last.
Shaun was last seen at the Omniplex Cinema, Clonmel in Tipperary, on Saturday at around 3.15pm.
"Thankfully, this morning Shaun was found safe and well. We as a family thank each and every person who shared his info so that he was returned home safe to his family," said Shaun's aunt.
"We were utterly overwhelmed by the number of people that helped. Thank you so much," added Ms Federico.
The youngster is described as being six feet in height, of a large build, with light brown hair that is shaved on the sides.
When last seen, Shaun was wearing a navy/grey tracksuit with white socks and white Nike runners.
