Gardai search for owner of 'distinctive' gold ring found at popular tourist destination

Gardai are searching for the owner of a unique ring that was found at a popular tourist spot in Co Meath.

A "distinctive" gold ring was discovered at the visitors' centre on the Hill of Tara on July 26.

A picture of the ring was shared on social media by the Meath Crime Prevention Facebook page.

The caption reads: "On 26th July this year a tourist handed in a gold ring that they had found on the Hill of Tara to the visitors centre (photo attached).

"Any inquiries can be directed to Leontia or Joan at brunaboinne@opw.ie or 046 9423301.

"It is a very distinctive ring and it would be great if the owner could be found."
