Gardai search Dublin park as part of investigation into Halloween sexual assault

A North Dublin park was sealed off yesterday as part of a garda investigation into an alleged sexual assault.

Squad cars rushed to Donaghmede Park yesterday evening to corner off the area.

The alleged serious incident happened in Coolock on Sunday and no arrests have yet been made.

The park remained closed to the public this morning as gardai continued to carry out their investigation.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating reports of an alleged serious incident that occurred in Coolock on 31st October 2021.

"No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
