Gardai are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in Co Meath this morning.
The grim discovery was made at a home on Trim Road, Enfield at around 8:30am.
The scene has been sealed off with locals reporting a large garda presence in the town as officers carry out investigations.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a man at a residential property on the Trim Road, Enfield, Co. Meath, at approximately 8:30am this morning.
"The scene is currently being preserved to allow for a technical examination to take place.
"Investigations are ongoing."
