Gardai sealed off a house in north Dublin overnight as a man was rushed to hospital after suffering burn injuries.
Investigating officers rushed to the scene on the Main Street of Swords at around 11.15pm on Wednesday.
Garda presence was still visible outside the house on Thursday morning with official tape across the property, Dublin Live reports.
A man in his 40s was taken to Beaumont Hospital with the burn injuries but they are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardai also added that foul play is not currently suspected in the incident as they continue to investigate.
