Gardai seal off Dublin park as part of probe into alleged sexual assault on Halloween

Gardai have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at a Dublin park on Halloween.

The alleged serious incident is understood to have occurred in Donaghmede Park in Coolock on Sunday, October 31.

Gardai rushed to the park on Tuesday night and cordoned off the area as part of their probe.

The park remained closed to the public on Wednesday morning as the investigation continued, Dublin Live reports.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating reports of an alleged serious incident that occurred in Coolock on 31st October 2021.

"No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
