Gardai had a cheeky message for one driver who they caught breaking the law on Irish roads this week.
Officers stopped the motorist before carrying out a roadside drugs test.
The driver failed and subsequently gardai also discovered a quantity of drugs in the car.
And it turned out it was in fact the motorists birthday when they were caught by gardai.
Gardai seized the drugs and the driver is now facing court proceedings.
Naturally gardai took the opportunity to issue a cheeky message to the rule breaker.
Posting a number of pictures on Twitter a spokesperson wrote: "Not a very Happy Birthday for this motorist - stopped by DMR Roads Policing, failed roadside drugs test and arrested for DUI.
"Significant quantity of drugs seized following a search of the car.
"Court proceedings to follow."
