Gardai rushed to the scene of a stabbing incident in a popular Dublin park today as crowds flocked to the scenic spot to catch some rays of sunshine.
The incident happened just after 4.30pm this afternoon when a man in his 20s was assaulted and stabbed during the attack in St Stephen's Green.
While gardai are investigating the incident there have been no arrests made in connection.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating the assault of a male in his 20s that occurred in St Stephens Green at approximately 4:40pm this afternoon.
"No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
