Gardai have shut the majority of the M50 at Junction 6 Northbound Blanchardstown after a serious road accident.
Only one lane remains open after the incident, which has Gardaí, Dublin Fire Brigade and ambulances on the scene.
The collision took place just before 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday, according to TIL.
Traffic between Junction 7 Lucan and Junction 6 Blanchardstown is extremely heavy as a result of the collision.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are at the scene of a collision northbound on the M50 after J6 and there are delays to traffic. We will revert back when further details emerge."
