Gardaí are currently at the scene of a serious incident at Hazelhatch Train Station in Celbridge.
An incident is understood to have occurred at the Kildare station at around 7.30pm.
At present, no further details are available.
Train services through the Hazelhatch Station are currently suspended as emergency services attend the scene.
Bus transfers are being arranged for Intercity services and Dublin Bus is accepting rail tickets between Celbridge and Dublin.
In a statement, Iarnród Éireann said: "Due to an incident on the line at Hazelhatch, all services are suspended through this station until further notice.
"Emergency services on-site attending. All services through Hazelhatch remain suspended until further notice. Dublin Bus honouring rail tickets. Update to follow."
