Gardai have launched an investigation after a man's body was found in an apartment in Co Offaly.
Officers rushed to the scene in the town of Edenderry on Tuesday morning.
Gardai confirmed that the man's body was brought from the scene to Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
And a post mortem exam is due to be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
However, it is understood that officers do not currently suspect foul play, and the incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male at apartment in Edenderry on Tuesday, the 23rd March 2021.

"The body of the deceased has been removed from the scene to regional hospital for post mortem."
