Gardai are reminding cyclists "the rules of the road apply to you too" after a number of fixed penalties were handed out yesterday.
Community Gardai on the beat on Dame St gave advice and notices after observing people breaking red lights at a pedestrian crossing.
Taking to Twitter, they asked people to remember the rules.
They said: "Community Gardai Pearse St: Speaking to cyclists who have broken red lights at pedestrian crossings on Dame St. A number of FCPN’s issued and advice given.
