Gardai have released an image of a deadly hand-grenade that was seized following a drugs raid in Co Meath on Wednesday.
During the search at a property in Ashbourne, Co Meath cannabis worth €2million and cocaine with an estimated value of €420,000 was seized alongside two hand grenades.
The Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) were called to the scene and made the devices safe.
A man, aged in his 70s, was arrested and is currently detained at Ashbourne Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 – Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

In a statement gardai said: "Following analysis of all of the drugs recovered investigating Gardaí have now confirmed that Cannabis herb with an estimated value of €1.98 million was seized along with Cocaine with estimated value of €420,000 during the search operation.
"A man in his 70s arrested in connection with the investigation remains in custody at Ashbourne Garda Station.
"He is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 and may be held for up to seven days.

"The operation was led by Gardaí attached to Ballymun Garda Station supported by local Units from the Ashbourne District.
