A stolen car was recovered by gardai recently after they found a fake date sellotaped to the insurance disc.
The car was recovered after gardai from Kevin Street spotted the "unsual" insurance disc.
Gardai shared images of the car and the insurance disc on social media.
They said: "Gardaí in Kevin St have recently recovered a stolen car after observing this unusual insurance disc.
"We wonder was it the Sellotape that gave it away??"
